From July, 13th to 25th, 2009, the Festival International « Nuits d’Afrique »’s 23rd edition will set Montreal on fire once again !

Winner of the Quebec Tourism Grand Prize in 2007 and 2005, the Festival International « Nuits d’Afrique » is a unique event in North America, the 5th main cultural event of Montreal. It is the only one indeed to offer, during the same event, all the world musics with African roots, which include music from Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, whether in French, in English or in any languages. This specificity gives the festival a major touristic potential, celebrating Montreal as a unique cultural experience in Canada. Since it was created, almost 23 years ago, the Festival International « Nuits d’Afrique » is at the forefront of the international world music scene. The greatest artists from Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America presented their show for the 1st time in Montreal thanks to this Festival. The talent of many local world music artists was also revealed by the Festival International « Nuits d’Afrique ». NB: All the shows based Place Émilie Gamelin are free!

Two differents tours available led by a professional tour guide: THE CLASSICAL - city tour and THE VISTA - ARCHITECTURE - nature tour. You may keep your bicycle for the whole day!  

Arrival 30 minutes prior to departure. Price : $49 (plus taxes) including the bike rental (bicycles are at your disposal until 7:00 pm). Reservations are obligatory as places for bike tour are limited. Two differents tours available led by a professional tour guide:  THE CLASSICAL - including the Old Port, La Fontaine Park, Golden Square Mile's and downtown.
