A Heritage in Health to Discover

» Musée des Hospitalières de l’Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal

600 objects from the collection of the Hospitallers of St.Joseph, of Hôtel-Dieu, relate a history forever entwined with that of Montreal.

Guided tours are available for groups, the general public and students from grade schools to universities.

The Musée des Hospitalières de l'Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal, inaugurated in 1992, commemorates the 350th anniversary of the foundation of Montreal.

A guided tour of the Biosphère’s wind turbines, its artificial wastewater treatment wetlands and its geothermal heating and air-conditioning system.

Old-fashioned curling

» Musée Stewart

Initiation to curling on natural ice in the Fort courtyard. Brooms and irons provided. A guide is available and possibility of a campfire. For groups of 8 to 16.

Curling is available if weather permits, from January through March. Two ice sheets are available and cost is according to the number of hours for each sheet, 1 hour up to 4 hours, between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m., daily.

Tour of the Exhibit Damoiselle Mance

» Musée des Hospitalières de l’Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal in collaboration with The Univers culturel de Saint-Sulpice

The exhibition unveils the life and work of Jeanne Mance (1606-1673) co-founder of Montréal, founder of the Hôtel-Dieu and Canada's first secular nurse.

The exhibition can be visited individually during the museum's opening hours. A guided tour can also be reserved for groups.
