1837 * 1838 Rebellions - Patriotes vs Loyalists

The 1837 and 1838 rebellions were exceptional events in our country's history. The exhibition traces the roots of the Rebellions and their political, social and economic dimensions.

From November 6, 2007 to April 27, 2008.  Tuesday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Green Light for Ecotechnologies

A guided tour of the Biosphère’s wind turbines, its artificial wastewater treatment wetlands and its geothermal heating and air-conditioning system.

Guided tours of the exhibitions

Visitors follow a guide on a tour of the permanent exhibition.

Guided tours last from 45 minutes to one hour depending on the group. The exhibition tour can vary.

In the 18th Century Style, historical family activities

Military costumes for youngsters. Worshops to make cartridges, tattooing inspired by the Natives, storytelling, guided tours. In winter, snowshoeing and old-fashioned curling.

Snowshoeing and old-fashioned curling are available only if Mother Nature allows.

Old-fashioned curling

» Musée Stewart in collaboration with Stewart Museum

Initiation to curling on natural ice in the Fort courtyard. Brooms and irons provided. A guide is available and possibility of a campfire. for groups of 8 to 16.

Curling is available if weather permits, from January through March. Two ice sheets are available and the cost is per ice sheet, according to the number of hours, 1 hour up to 4 hours, between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m., daily.
